I have lived in Mt Pleasant for 3 years but this is the first time I have been out on the water. (Young children, bad back, etc) I have been on a few flats boats back in Florida but the ride in your boat was the best. I cannot think of a better way to start a day. Seeing the early morning light develop over the marsh, the wildlife, and the serenity. It was such a great day. Plus, having fished with quite a few guides in all parts of the country over the years I can say that you (Capt. Legare) are the most laid back, helpful, and competent of them all. We caught redfish until we had to start throwing them back because we had so many in the livewell. Capt Legare worked all morning to keep our fishing experience fun for all. Plenty of bait, great rods and reels, comfortable boat. Ended a great day keeping seven redfish and one flounder. Already planning our next trip. Severe heat (100 +) did not ruin our fishing trip. Different waters, different fish, but wow, what similar superb action. Fighting redfish certainly equals the atlantic salmon. I like the temperature here better though!
